That sounds like a fascinating idea. I hadn't thought of that. I have my RSS reader follow the various podcasts that I listen to, but I hadn't thought of using that data for anything.
Perhaps you should do a podcast episode on that topic.

It's always cool seeing other peoples solutions to similar problems! I use a python script to parse my rss reader's sqlite database to download podcasts :P
