The word "Heferweisen" does not exist in German. The correct composite noun is "Hefeweizen" from "Hefe" (yeast) and "Weizen" (wheat).
However, there are German words Hafer (oats) and Weisen (some homonyms like wise men, manners, to indicate), that do not have any relationship to beer. The word "Hefer" does not exist in German.

Thank you for pointing this out, I hadn't noticed the spelling error, I shall attempt to get it sorted.
